Blog entry 32.
Jules had intended to fish twice this week, in the end one hectic day session was enough, JC doesn't do much social fishing, any he does do is generally in the winter. He finds that he fishes better/more efficiently on his own, he's always drawn a line between fishing for business purposes/fishing socially. All are completely different and he get's something different from each type of fishing.
On Monday Brian Skoyles and Julian had their usual winter session, this time the target species was carp rather than perch. All the stars aligned in around 8/9 hours of fishing, they had over forty carp between them, including a stunning 25lb 4oz mirror for Mr Cundiff.
Regularly recasting small Webcast PVA mesh bags of crumbed new Nashbait Citruz and fishery pellets with Hi-Viz hookbaits worked a treat. JC's poor old ZT Bib and Braces were covered in mud by dusk, fantastic fishing and more importantly fantastic company . That was enough carp for him this week.
Off the bank it's been another busy week, the Delves AGM took place and it was good to catch up with friends and get ready for night permit renewals 2024/25. Jules had his three weekly Reflexology sessions, two good gym trips, a nice meal out with the good lady, and caught up with an old school friend from the late seventies Nick. They both love rock music, F1 and motorbikes, Nick has no interest in fishing which made a refreshing change. More book work, house improvements and prepping for some spring bait making "specialist hookbaits".
As always thanks for reading, keep an eye out for blog entry 33, tight lines and happy angling Jules.
